Flipping Between Projects

In the continued distractions of summer and holidays and ongoing renovations (yes, the project continues to haunt us), I decided to put aside my larger project, as I’d arrived at a good resting point (in my mind, the end of Act II). I’ve shifted, for now, to a smaller project, a brief novel, as I thought I’d be able to get my head around it more easily, in the smaller bits of time I have.

Somehow I’ve been sailing through it, and it’s become something I wasn’t quite expecting. Now I’m not sure what to do with it.

For now, I’ll keep working with it, and then let it sit for a while. It’s exciting and always a little strange when the stories take over.
