My brain is starting to function again, after a cold-induced fog. It’s revving itself up with songs, creating a commentary on my day. I find myself humming The sun’ll come out, tomorrow (it’s been raining all week); Rain rain go away (it’s pouring at the moment), and, most telling, If I only had a brain.
Now, to work. I was editing, I think. Now where’s that manuscript?
