Snow!

I was going to write about my wee spring flowers, and maybe include a photo, but it’s snowing. Fat flakes are settling on my flowers – crocuses, daffodils and a sea of deep blue scilla, with hepatica gleaming in the shade. Spring in Calgary is so weird.

Instead, I’m starting to get my head around the third book in the Veil of Magic series. It’s a fall and winter story, so perhaps the snow is good for getting me in the mood.

Nope. I thought about it, and there’s nothing good about it. Except that it’s keeping me at my desk instead of working in the garden.
