After months of delays and distractions, the readings for Cursed! are finally up. My genius husband Mark Harding composed and performed the music, and took care of the production.
The delays began with composing original music. We needed a short clip, and that was almost the most difficult thing. How do you capture the right mood in just a few bars? And of course, the mood was in my head and the music in his, so it took a few tries to connect the two.
Then we were delayed by too many other things on the to-do list, like renovating the bathroom (still ongoing), and putting in the garden (all planted and thriving now).
We finally had a wet, quiet weekend to work through some of the less urgent items on the list. Finishing these recordings was, finally, the top priority.
